Podcast #84: How to Create a Budget You’ll Actually Stick To

Hey, you! Yes, you. Do you have a budget? Or do you “have” a budget (aka you created a spreadsheet once two years ago and haven’t looked at it once since?). This episode is for you.

Budgeting is traditionally a pretty boring topic, but it doesn’t have to be. Having a budget doesn’t mean you have to quit doing everything you love and stick to only the essentials for the rest of your life.

In this episode, Jess and Laura talk about what a budget is, how to create one that actually works for your life, and explain why so many common budgeting tactics tend to fail. The two share tangible budgeting tips, from the perspectives of a reformed shopaholic and a spreadsheet-phobe. If we can get our budgets together, you can too!
